Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu (Telugu: ఘట్టమనేని మహేష్ బాబు) is an Indian Film actor. Mahesh has worked in a number of critically and commercially successful films and has established himself as one of the leading actors of Telugu Cinema.

He started his film career as a child actor in his father's film named Needa. He made his debut as a lead actor in 1999 with Rajakumarudu and then went out to make some big blockbuster hits like Okkadu, Athadu, and Pokiri. Mahesh made himself comfortable in the Telugu Industry and has acquired "Super Star" status within a short time.
