Celebrities, like the featured cover star Kesha, as well as Paris Hilton, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Miley Cyrus have been blurring the boundary of classy by pushing a shabby image. And what’s interesting is that instead of being frowned upon, this normally considered less-than-desirable image is actually being celebrated.
Kesha for one has taken the concept of “trashy” to a whole new level. When Galaxie references the Tik Tok singer’s “vintage” style, it is meant in every literal sense.
