The Oscars are over, but the jewels that the stars kept flashing on the red carpet are still shining bright in our minds. This year, it was all about diamonds galore and statement bracelets. They were stacked and shiny and gave new meaning to arm candy. Earrings, necklaces, and rings also played supporting roles.
Here are few snippets from the Big Event:
As predicted on StyleList, Kathryn Bigelow took home the golden statue for Best Director -- and Best Picture for "The Hurt Locker," sparkling in a Edition Soir Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati titanium gown.

Maggie Gyllenhaal wore vintage Fred Leighton.
Helen Mirren wore quite the classy bling: Chopard’s oval shape diamond necklace, pear shape diamond drop earrings, and a fancy, rose cut diamond cuff.
